I must confess, I'm an Almond lover. So this post workout treat feeds my healthy Almond addiction. Almonds not only taste great but they are high in protein. Protein is important to have post workout. It helps rebuild and replenish the little tears that are created in muscles after a long run or any rigorous workout. It keeps you fuller longer and it helps build lean muscle. Almond Lover is the cheeky name for this shake. Love yourself by refueling properly.


1/2 Cup Rolled Oats, Finely Processed 1 Cup Whole Almond Milk 1/2 Cup of Vega Protein Powder* 2 Tbsp Cup Organic Almond Butter 1/2 Banana 1/2 Apple 1 tsp of Cinnamon I add a few salted roasted Almonds to give it a nutty taste

*If whey isn’t the way to go for you, try Vega. Its a vegan protein that's just as good for you as it is yummy.


Combine all dry ingredients. Add Almond Milk. Add Ice. Blend well. Enjoy!
