Champions aren’t made in gyms.
Champions are made from something they have deep inside them-a desire, a dream, a vision. They have to have the skill, and the will… -Muhammad Ali.
We have some of the greatest athletes playing one of the greatest games in the world, The NBA. Day in and day out these players spend hours on end perfecting their skill with a passion for the game they love, and we love equally.
There are many ups and downs NBA players undergo like trade deadlines. The current 2017 NBA Trade Deadline had taken place and it is one of the most anticipated and talked about events of the season. Current players stand on edge wondering “will I stay or will I be traded”. Luckily, players like Carmelo Anthony and Derrick Rose of the New York Knicks, just to name a few, get to stay put. But trades are not death sentences, they are just fresh starts; “let’s push the reset button”. Players are now an even greater asset to yet another amazing team. Check out Demarcus Cousins; NBA Allstar, 2 time Olympic Gold Medalist, and controversial big man with the Sacramento Kings. Cousins has been traded to the New Orleans Pelicans, meaning new organization and new opportunity to have an impact on this team.
The NBA trade is just that, opportunities!! For every player moved, a spot is created leaving an invitation for a future NBA draft pick. Change is good!
The season of change is upon the NBA.
